I would not recommend entry & exit tones on conference calls that have 100 or more lines. I made the mistake and requested both entry & exit tones on my conference call that had 200 lines reserved and all I heard was beeping the whole entire conference call which is not good when you're trying to give a presentation. I made sure that right after the conference call was over that I called Eagle Teleconferencing and had the tones removed.

This is defiantly correct,

What happens is that there are so many beeps from users it becomes crazy

This also happens if there are users dialling in using a calling card that also beeps when the credit is getting low.

What helps is if participants join initially muted and unmute only if they need to speak.
