*6 for mute
Our company has been using conference calls with Eagle Teleconferencing and some of the conference calls have quite a number of people on. The people dialing into the conference calls have been using the *6 feature to mute their lines. This is a great feature on conference calls. *6 mutes their individual line so we won't hear any of their back ground noise on the conference calls.

No there is nothing special you have to do to add this to your conference calls. It is a feature that everyone can use on their conference calls.
How does *6 work on conference calls?
When the participants call into the conference calls if they have any noise in the background they would hit *6 on their phone and that will mute their line on the conference calls. Now if they want to talk in the conference call they would hit *6 again and that will unmute their line in the conference call.
Sounds pretty easy to mute your phone on the conference call. On our next conference call I will have to mention this feature so people can mute themselves on the conference calls. Thanks Donna
Yeah I think I will have to use this on our next conference calls also! We also ahve a lot of people calling into our conference calls and this would help!

It is great for conference calls that you don't have to ask for this feature. It is automatic. I recommend using this feature on conference calls.
