Eagle Teleconferencing has an option called self mute. To access this function you push *6 on your phone at anytime during the call. When you do this, you will mute your line only. To reverse the affect of this action, simply push *6 again and it will allow you to be heard again. This is very useful when you are having a lecture with a small group of listeners. If you are planning on having a large group of listeners, you may want to consider using a different option Eagle offers called lecture mode, you may access this option by pushing *5 on your phone at anytime during your call. By doing this you will mute all the participants calling in under the callers pin number, and only the participants who called in under the moderators pin number can be heard. To reverse the affect, simply push * 5 again to open the call up again, but remember, to use lecture mode, you must have a moderators pin number, so ask the when you set up your call make sure you have a moderators pin number.

You can access call count by pushing *8 on your phone keypad at any time. An automated voice will come onto your line and tell you how many listeners you have on your line at that time. Entry and Exit Tones

Eagle Teleconferencing has several great features available to you while using their services, such as entry and exit tones. When a participant joins your call, a tone will go off alerting you that they have entered, when a participant leaves your call, you will hear a tone alerting you that they exit the call. This comes in handy when you have a small conference call, but i would not recommend entry and exit tones for anyone who is holding a large conference call with 50 or more people. All the tones going off throughout your call can be very distracting. If you will be holding a larger call, maybe you would like to try using just entry tones, or just exit tones. To keep things from getting to hectic.

Eagle saved the company!!

I had a very important conference call set to take place. I called 2 days ahead of time to make the reservation, sent my assistant the information and everything was ready to go..... Until i realized, I SENT MY ASSISTANT THE WRONG INFORMATION!!!! I had switched the pin numbers around and 1000 people got sent the wrong pin number to the call!!! This would have been a complete disaster, but Eagle teleconferencing is completely dedicated to giving quality service to their customers. I called them as the call was going on in a panic. They assured me that they would take care of the problem and did exactly that. 3. *4: Volume Gain: Turns up the volume level one notch.
4. *8: Call count: Tells you how many people are on your call at any time.
5. *6: Self Mute - Allows listeners to mute their line only.

To reverse any of these features, you simply repeat the same action. Its as easy as that!!

When using Eagle Teleconferencing for your conference calls, hitting *4 on your phone will turn the volume level up one notch. This comes in handy often because certain phones can have a lower volume level and you want to be sure that no listeners on your call will miss out on any vital information. A wonderful feature from Eagle teleconferencing service is called "Lecture Mode". Your moderator may access this function at anytime during your call by pushing *5 on their phone. By doing this it will mute anyone who had dialed in under the caller pin number but they will still be able to hear the the moderator speaking. This will eliminate all extra background noise that can disturb your call.

Eagle conference calls have done it again! I was supposed to schedule a conference call for my boss and some of her co-workers. They needed a conference call today at 3:00 pm EST. You can actually see who your talking to as a live broadcast goes across the country!! Its like your in an an actual boardroom!!! Web conferencing is the future in conferences calls!

Setting up a teleconference would require first and foremost a person that would be in charge of the conference call. It is this person’s responsibility to call or email each participant and establish the specific time for the conference call. This will be the same person that will make the necessary calls to assemble the group and establish the reservation with pin numbers and call in numbers to be used by each participant. It should be kept in mind that a large number of people may be difficult to manage in a single teleconference, but Eagle Teleconferencing system is step up for the challenge!

This is a great idea for conference calls. I think on my next conference call I will have to try this. I know there is an option to mute the whole conference call but I think the moderators wanted to keep the whole conference call open. Moderators can hit *5 to mute out the whole conference call and then they can speak without any noise. I do like this feature also but to keep an open conference call *6 sounds good.
